Weekly Boxercise Sessions

As part of the ParkLives Healthy Living initiative, Active Nation! organised FREE weekly Boxercise sessions at St.James’ Park, combining exercise and boxing using gloves and pads, with a fully trained instructor, starting from Thursday 27th April.

Tai Chi Session

To help celebrate World Tai Chi Day, everyone was invited to a Tai Chi FREE taster session at St.James’ Park.

Picnic in the Park

Weekly Couch to 5k Sessions

International Family Day

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] As part of Bringing Families Together,a Lottery‑funded initiative, FoSJP organised an International Family Day at St.James’ Park on a sunny Sunday in July. Park Days

As part of the ParkLives Healthy Living initiative, Active Nation! organised a series of FREE Summer Holiday Park Days in St.James’ Park, with FREE activities for all the family, such as rounders, kabaddi, boccia, football, tennis, badminton, and dodgeball.

Memory Lane

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Shirley Local History Group – Memory Lane The Shirley Local History Group held its first Memory Lane event at the ParkLife Community Room in St.James’ Park, which was aimed at an older generation of local people to come and share memories.
