Community Club at St. James’ Park
The team at Friends of St. James’ Park are really happy to be able to offer our drop in sessions again. Find us in our community room located at the back of the Parklife Café building, entrance by the tennis courts. We look forward to seeing you there!
When do we meet?
Every Monday and Wednesday, 11-4pm, we will be open for anyone over 18 to drop in. (not including bank holidays). Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for any updates, should we happen to be closed due to unforeseen circumstances.
What do we offer?
In these free sessions we offer a clean, stress free safe area for you to come and meet like minded people.
We play a lot of board games, like Scrabble and Rummikub. We make draw pictures, make jewellery, glas painting, make gonks, hammerbeads and so much more. At the moment we have SoCo Music Project with us and we sing and make songs. We have tea and coffee, plus biscuits (we do love our shortbread biscuits). Now and again we have cake and we love celebrating birthdays and other occations.
We are also here to help you with basic IT issues. (Like setting up email accounts, paying bills, Skype etc). Feel free to ask us about mobile phones too, we will do our best to help.
We look forward to seeing you in group, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about our lovely and friendly group.
