Dog Show & Family Fun Day – Sunday 24th September 2017

On Sunday 24th September, St.James’ Park hosted its biggest yet Dog Show & Family Fun Day. Beautiful weather and a record high number of visitors made this event very special. Whilst the Dog Show ran smoothly, registering 186 dogs in 10 categories, the event also offered plenty for children and adults alike – the veterinary stall, BBQ, tombolas, bouncy castles, face painting, and charity and sales stalls were very busy all day! Feedback was great and it was reported that some charities had given out all the leaflets they had brought with them.
FoSJP had 40 volunteers working on and off all day, and we’re so very grateful for all their help! We’d also like to say a huge Thank You to all the businesses and charities who donated vouchers or prizes to the upmarket Tombola (17 in total).
