McCarthy Organs – Sunday 17th September 2017
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Sunday 17th September saw St.James’ Park playing host to the McCarthy Organ gathering – 12 fairground music organs, all made in Hampshire by renowned organ maker Paul McCarthy, were on display.
The day was organised by Dave Clothier, a FoSJP member and FoSJP Gardening Team volunteer. Dave’s fellow enthusiasts at the event were: Robin Hester, Cliff Seamark, Peter Davey, Anthony Hooker, Dave Heritage, Eileen Tressler, and Peter Trodd – also paying a visit was Paul McCarthy himself – we thank them all for their contribution to another great day in the Park.
Members of FoSJP ran a bouncy castle and the ParkLife Café laid on a BBQ.
