Clean-Up Morning – Saturday 18th November 2006

With the help of over 40 volunteers, including children from many local schools, FoSJP spent a beautiful sunny Saturday morning putting the Park to bed for Winter – clearing the Park of litter, raking up Autumn leaves, and tidying up the flower beds. Everyone benefited from plenty of fresh air and exercise – not to mention the warming soups from the FoSJP Kiosk!
It was a real pleasure to see everyone involved and to see children so enthusiatic to rid the Park of litter, and it was gratifying to see older people in wheelchairs now able to safely use the leaf-free paths.
