The Noise – Sunday 30th April 2006
The Noise was an event run by the FoSJP in conjunction with Southampton City Council and the local parish church.
Advertised as a public consultation and community event, families were entertained by a bouncy castle, a drumming workshop, games, activities, and story telling.
Visitors were invited to join the newly formed FoSJP in order to be kept informed of developments, and were asked to complete a questionnaire in order to find out:
- The range of people who use the Park.
- What they use the Park for.
- What their priorities would be for the Park’s future.
Tea, coffee, and squash were provided, with free cakes!
To help achieve this, we asked for everyone’s views and opinions. Over 400 questionnaires were completed – indications showed that the renovation of the toilet block and reinstating the toilet facilities are the top priority. The questionnaires are now being independently analysed and we hope to bring you full results soon.
Many thanks to all those who helped make the Noise event, and the launch of FoSJP, such a success!
