Halloween Afternoon Event – Saturday 31st October 2015

On a beautiful autumn day, we celebrated Halloween with an afternoon event in the ParkLife Community Roomthat offered face painting, mask colouring, Play‑Doh, necklace making, glass jar painting, puzzles, and hot dogs. More than 130 children turned up, in a whole variety of costumes, with their parents – it was noisy and hectic but great fun!

Our hard‑working team of 18 volunteers gave a total of 52 hours of their time to support this event. We also raised funds to help the ParkLife Café continue operation throughout the quieter winter months, which means that we can continue running events for the local community and supporting projects for those less fortunate.

A big thank you to all the volunteers and ParkLife staff who helped run this event, and everyone who came along!
