In February 2013, FoSJP organised a free Craft Workshop, provided by the WEA, to provide training for volunteers with an interest in supporting adults to learn new skills in a new Learn 2 Love Learning club that will be starting in April 2013, on Tuesday mornings, aimed at supporting learners who may have a specific learning difficulty, be returning to learning after some time, or have recently had a significant life change.

Kate Woodley‑Smith taught nine participants some decoupage techniques in 2 hours that flew by.

Here’s what people said:

“It was a great experience, really nice to brush up skills and was great fun too. Kate was really helpful.”

“Fun and encouraging.”

“Really enjoyable.”

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the morning.”

“It was better than I expected.”

Five people from this course signed up for the Learn 2 Love Planning meeting on Tuesday 19th March 2013.

Here are some photos of the workshop in action, and of some of their finished products:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
