Easter EGGStravORGANza – Monday 17th April 2017

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Easter Monday in St.James’ Park means only one thing: it’s EGGStravORGANza day once again!

With near perfect weather, a record crowd enjoyed this great event, now in its fourth year. Dave Clothier and his colleagues from the Fair Organ Preservation Society once again put on a splendid show of musical organs and scale model traction engines giving children rides, with all the exhibitors donating their time and displays free of charge.

Together with a bouncy castle, stalls, and a barbecue, everyone could be seen to be enjoying a great afternoon out and about in their favourite park.

Dave Clothier would like to thank all exhibitors – many miles were travelled getting to St.James’ Park, with some from as far afield as Aylesbury, Guildford, Bordon, and Basingstoke – for coming along to this event:

  • Dave Clothier – “ENDURANCE” 22 keyless McCarthy and 3‑inch scale Burrell Traction Engine
  • Paul McCarthy – 17 keyless McCarthy
  • Pete Davis – 31 keyless McCarthy
  • Anthony Hooker – 22 Keyless McCarthy operated by Midi System and Mini 20 Pell Harmonette
  • Graham Kidd – 22 keyless Truman
  • Jim Nash – 6 matchstick models
  • Barbara Nash – examples of cross stitch

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]A big Thank You to all the FoSJP volunteers and ParkLife Café staff who made sure that everybody enjoyed the show![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
