The theme this month was Under the Sea – 20 children (including two on holiday from New Zealand) made sealife scratch pictures, sealife window pictures, and paper plate fish, boats, seascapes, and octopuses.

The theme this month was Spring – the children made tulips and sunflowers and decorated biscuits and tins.
Saturday 6th February 2016
The theme this month was Chinese New Year – the children made twisty snakes, scratchcard animals, twisty drums, and paper dragons.
Saturday 5th December 2015
The theme this month was Christmas – 15 children and accompanying adults came along to decorate baubles and star boxes and to make tree decorations out of macaroni, ribbons, bells, and pipecleaners.

The theme this month was Fireworks & Spiders – a small group of four children and accompanying adults braved the wind and rain to take part in making firework scenes, spider facepainting, making spider webs, and spider web marble painting.
Saturday 3rd October 2015
The theme this month was Autumn – 20 children and accompanying adults took part in leaf printing and making leaf hedgehogs and leaf people.
Saturday 5th September 2015
A bumper crowd of 30 children and accompanying adults made and coloured in gliders, decorated glasses, made Autumn stained windows, and decorated fairy cakes.
Saturday 4th July 2015
The theme this month was Under the Sea – 12 children and accompanying adults made scratch sealife bookmarks, sealife window decorations, and macaroni necklaces and bracelets, and were offered sealife motif face painting. Some of our visitors had travelled from Lordswood and Thornhill for the session, and we were pleased to welcome one family who had moved into our area just 2 days ago.

The theme this month was Insects – 20 children and accompanying adults, with many new faces amongst them, enjoyed making insect dolly pegs and insect pictures and collages, while insect‑themed face painting was also on offer.
Saturday 4th April 2015
The theme this month was Easter – 30 children and accompanying adults enjoyed making Easter cards and Easter baskets, and decorating Easter biscuits. There were many new faces, with people travelling from as far afield as Romsey, Totton, and Thornhill.

The theme this month was Weather – 35 children and accompanying adults enjoyed making weather‑themed mobiles and rainbow crowns, and face painting.
Saturday 7th February 2015
The theme this month was Chinese New Year – 15 children and accompanying adults enjoyed making paper lanterns, lucky fish, and dragon spiral mobiles.
Saturday 6th September 2014
The theme this month was Autumn – 20 children and accompanying adults were busy making harvest window pictures and woodland animals.

There was no Crafty Saturday session in July 2014 as it would have clashed with the Community Games event, where there was plenty of fun and activities for children of all ages!

The theme this month was Transport – making and decorating gliders, colouring transport cards, and decorating bookmarks with transport and glitter stickers.
We also decorated more fabric triangles for bunting for the forthcoming Community Games.

The theme this month was Flower Power! Children topped biscuits with flower decorations and coloured icing, and made flowers from foam shapes, pipe cleaners, and scrap materials.

The theme for this very busy Crafty Saturday session was birds. A total of 25 children, helped by parents and FoSJP volunteers, made bird feeders and decorated paper birds and bird finger puppets.
