“The Rebuilding of Shirley Schools”

2012‑2013 was the centenary year of the rebuilding of the Shirley Schools on Wilton and Bellemoor Roads (now Shirley Infant and Junior Schools). Liz, an architectural technician with a special interest in historical buildings and building preservation, shared the stories hidden in the building plans from 1912-1913, and Michaela shared the earlier Victorian history of the schools discovered in local and national archives.
